My users are no longer able to route documents when attempting to sign and route an appended document. After selecting the user to route the append to the only available options are sign and cancel (the sign and route button are greyed out). As a result the users must first sign the document, then go back to the document and use the route button. Any ideas are greatly appreciated. I was thinking it might be with the permission settings but I wasn't sure what to look for.

Does the user they are routing to have rights to sign the document type being sent?

I checked the Append- Sign within the Document Signature under Security by Permission and all users (minus non-clinical staff) have permissions.

My "Route" button is also greyed out after selecting user(s), but at that point I sign the APPEND and it is automatically routed to the user(s) in the "Route to" box.
