What do you recommend for insurance card and photo ID card scanners in a citrix environment?

We use Ambir card scanners with Remote Scan to share the scanner out to other user. There is a package made for Terminal Servers and Citrix Servers. Very easy to set up and works well for us.

Hi, what is the Ambir model # you recommend? I have not heard of remote scan, how does that work? Does this mean you don't have to have a scanner at every workstation? Would you be willing to email me some further details for Ambir and Remote Scan? Thanks!!! [email protected]

We have a couple of the ScanShell 800N -- we also have remote scan
Works good no issues

We use Remote Scan with DocketPORT 687 scanners in our Citrix environment. Have had them for more than a year in multiple facilities without any issues across a variety of Windows OS.

Does this mean you don't require a thick client for card scanning? If someone can email me details about how they've implemented remote scan with a card scanner, I would greatly appreciate it!
