Good Day Chuggers!
We just started using Centricity EMR-only at our urgent care office (all our other offices have been on it for years). At our urgent care we have onsite lab and rads as well as all the regular procedures (sutures, splints, etc) done in an urgent care setting. Patients are not scheduled, walk ins only and we see 20-35 patients a day with one provider.
We are trying to smooth out the workflow with ordering in house procedures/labs/rads and documenting the results with only one user in the chart at a time. We are currently routing to a "bucket" once orders are entered and back again to the provider when results are entered but this is time consuming and is slowing down patient care. Wait times have increased dramatically and that is not good.
Does anyone have any urgent care experience on Centricity that would be willing to partcipate in a conference call and discuss how you overcame these and other obstacles and created a workflow? Or if not too far away allow us to do a site visit?
Thank you!

Sonya am I understanding you to say your lab and xray results are being put in manually?
Hi Sonya,
Are you trying to smooth out only the workflow OR even the revenue cycle process?
