Does anyone out there use a separate Chemotherapy/Oncology Information System?
We know about Intellidose- but are any other Centricity Users using a different system?
Thank you,
Kathy Devin
I created forms for chemo orders that read protocols from text components for up to 4 cycles of up to 4 periods per cycle. Also, allows not pre-built protocols.
We also have forms that we are using, but our group would like something a little more robust.

Here's the training doc I put together...
I couldn't convince you to share those forms could I? We have an Oncology/Hematology practice waiting to be added to Centricity that we haven't been able to get any "forms" from.. they've been documenting on plain paper.
There's an Excel spreadsheet in the folder for obtaining protocol info needed to build a protocol used by the forms.
I included the dummy protocol, which shows 4 cycles of 4 periods each.
The protocol drop-down will show all of the protocols we have loaded, but are not included.
Here are the protocols that we have loaded. You will have to rename them...change RMCC to something for your facility. You will also have to change these names in the Oncology Chemo Orders text component. You will also have to edit each protocol and change the name in Approved by field and the Approved date field.
Here are the non-chemo order forms for ordering supportive meds without ordering chemo meds.
The previous ChemoForms somehow lost the dlg files. This one has them.
Thank you very much!
Those are some serious forms... I've never used a spreadsheet to have a form call to. These may be beyond my VFE knowledge.
Thanks
The spreadsheet is for gathering info from the providers from Devita/Chemoregimen.com to build the text component protocol. Made it easier to have something for them to fill out and make sure I had all the info needed to build the protocol rather than going back and forth with them until I had everything.
Spreadsheet --> Notepad --> text component
