Does anyone know of a cost effective and efficient way to capture signatures for consent forms?
I'm investigating Topaz signature pads, but I cannot confirm that it will be easy to import to Centricity.
eSignature is too expensive.
Suggestions appreciated.
Do you have a patient portal? Can you accept electronic signatures? We have several portal forms which we require an electronic signature from the patient. This requires the patient to enter their name, username, and password in order to "sign" the document.
I haven't implemented yet, but I have asked for Ipads to be able to do this in our waiting room for those patients who don't have access at home.
Hello, how did you build the forms in the portal to enter name username and password in order to sign on the patient portal? When they enter in the password, wouldn't need to be encrypted?
We built the form to be an electronic receipt form. This is chosen under Configuration when editing a page. The patient types in their name, their username for the site, and the password for the site (this is hidden and does not come across on the form). If the patient's password doesn't match what Kryptiq has on file for the patient, the form will not sign and the patient cannot continue. I would be happy to show you a demonstration if you think that would be helpful.
Hope that helps.
