Hi,
We are in Delaware, bordering both Pennsylvania and New Jersey. We have a few providers who see patients in 2 states. Does anyone have a solution to how to set up the DEA numbers in the user profile for this situation?
Thanks,
Nancy

Hi Nancy,
I would think you could store the DEA number on the Provider ID line and there would be a spot that you could filter then pull by facility. I looked and didn't see anything like that! Please let me know what you find out. Have you reached out to your support?
Hi,
Yes we did ask GE - and this is the response:
😕 You will need to set up separate user logins for each state that the provider has a different DEA number in.? Not a very elegant solution, I am afraid, but it is the only option we have available right now.
I was hoping someone had thought of a better idea:(
Thanks

Wow! I will reach out to some contacts and see how they handle this in thier system.
If this is just for a paper Rx out of CPS/EMR, you could do a fairly simple If/Then formula within the Rx Crystal Report, based upon either the patient's state or the current Location of Care's state.
