We are looking for a documented workflow on dictation place holder for a physician who is unhappy with the dragon option.
Any assistance given would be much appreciated.

We have physicians who still use transcription, we looked into the place holder and found it was not a smooth workflow for us. When our physicians dictate we ask they state HPI, PE, plan and so on. That way our transcription can place it into the correct part of the note.

Dictation placeholders were used at my old job. The physician would right click and place dictation placeholder. There is a number that is associated with it. When he dictated he said number and so when transcript interfaced in, it went to proper place on form. They loved it, however they used acusis for their dictation service.
