We currently use Ideal Image but have had multiple problems such as scanned documents not going through in the order we scan them in and multiple images or the entire set of documents will keep popping back up if you do not link them ALL the first time . We have heard good things about Docutrak and how it will make your work flow smoother. Is anyone using Docutrak? If so, what do you think about it?
Hi Sarah,
we use docutrak, it has it benefits and really not many draw backs, however, if you don't mind paying the support fees and license fees that GE adds to your bill. Other than that it is pretty solid, however you cannot combine documents together. I am actually working on a replacement for Docutrak for our office that allows us to do the same exact thing except also allows us to merge/combine multiple imports to one document.
Docutrak is a great product. Speaking from being on the VAR side and also on the client side.
Not sure about what was mentioned about scanning in multiple imports into one document. I've previously used a fujitsu scanner that came with software that recognized barcode seperator pages to solve that issue. Sorry, cant remember the particular model.
Anyway, Docutrak yes......
We use both Document Management (DokuTrak) and InDxLogic.
Check out ADFM from Strategic Business Systems before you decide. Simple product and it will not break the bank.
