I have some copies of Dragon 11 which I got as part of an agreement with Clincally Speaking and was going to do some testing until I wen to the Las Vegas CHUG conference where I heard that it doesn't work as well as version 10.1 (with CPS 10).
Has anyone here tried it with CPS 10 yet? I will be testing it out regardless but for a true test I need a doctor to use it. I had one set to go until I heard that it would be worse so I held off pending further investigation

Mike, I am running Dragon 10 with CPS 10....and it has not been fun. The dragon portion of recognizing the words and placing it the template but CPS keeps crashing with a "recursive remove peer api..." error. GE is in the process of releasing a patch in the next few weeks to address this error.

Hmm, they haven't disclosed that to me about the "recursive API call" issue. Last I heard they have an idea what the problem is but there was no mention on when it will be fixed. I was actually thinking it wouldn't be until 10.1.3 (at least) which is coming out 3 months after 10.1.2 which I think is slated for July. I asked specifically is it was in 10.1.2 and they said no.
I was asking about Dragon 11 in this post, not 10. I was given the impression that I would be worse off if I tried that. Like worse than Dragon 10 type of thing. Surely if Dragon 11 fixed the "recursive API call" issue they would be recommending it.

I am curious to know if you used Dragon 11 with CPS 10? We are thinking of purchasing Dragon and after reading the posts, I am hesitant on which version to get.

I have one doctor using it with CPS 10. The license model is horrible for Dragon 11 so I am hesitant to deploy until I decide the best strategy or they change their opinion on how they want to license it. We have multiple facilities which our doctors visit so I will need to spend a lot more to have many computers with Dragon on them. The doctors can only be one place at a time so this new model really stinks

Mike,
How how has dragon 11 been for you? Has Clinically Speaking been helpful in dealing with the challenges of integrating dragon and CPS?

We didn't ever upgrade to version 11 as I wanted to investigate several options before making a commitment. They have a Nuance cloud, which is a departure from their usual product and Dragon 11 licensing changes would have caused me some headaches since we have multiple facilities with the same doctors. Then I was thinking of doing thin clients at one facility but the office is in a very rural area and the ISP there is a bit archaic. I do have one doctor using it now and he is happy but we are only running CPS 10 so that doesn't help you. I would like to know more about CPS11/Dragon 11 challenges as we are gearing up for a CPS 11 upgrade now.
I can say that Dragon 10/CPS 10 works great, and my one test of Dragon 11/CPS 10 also works great but now I think I need to look into CPS 11 a bit further before pulling the trigger
Mike
Thank you for your help
