Is anyone out there using Dragon on a Mac? More specifically, Dragon via an RDP connection to a terminal server.
We have been told that Dragon is unsupported on Macs, but also told that some customers have found a way to use it. Any solutions other than boot camp?
Thanks
I can not directly answer your question, but I am aware of two things you need to watch out for with Dragon and CPS / RDP.
first make sure you have the proper "Network" version of dragon for using across RDP connections, otherwise it will not work very well at all.
Second, If you are on CPS 11 (maybe even 12 not sure) dragon is offically "broke" for use with CPS 11. GE has a couple of work around to make it work better, but it will crash a lot for your users.

'Broke' for thin clients only? We are on CPS 11 with thick clients (CPS 11.1.0.75)
We are version 11.0.0.621 and using dragon and our thick clients chart crashs when our providers try to go to orders even with the work around for all the time. So hopefully we are getting ready to install the 11.1 patch we will see if that helps at all.
I believe they mean broke as in Dragon and CPS don't work so well together on version 11, regardless of how you are connecting.
I believe Nuance sells a particular version of dragon that is better suited for use on thin clients, as we have found that the basic dragon medical version does much better fat client vs. thin client.
As for crashes with dragon + cps 11 I have a document that GE provides for making it work a little better. If I could figure out how to attach it I would. Otherwise maybe I can email it to any one interested?
As for SP 1 and improvements to dragon: we have not seen any mention of it in any iteration of the release notes, so we can only hope things get better form here.
I have something not sure if it is the same document but would still like to look at it where you make changes inside of dragon but is still does not help our crashes. But you can still email so i can see if it is the same one i have anything would help.

There is an issue I am aware of which crashes CPS with a Windows error. This is a .NET error of some sort.
