I have been trying to submit my remaining EHR Attestations for 2014 since 3:45pm on 2/24/2015 without success. The website allows me to access the provider attestation page but when I click the Attest button, the internet status button just spins then eventually times out and kicks me out of the EHR system.
Anyone else experiencing these functionality issues with the EHR website? The 2/28 deadline is looming and I'm getting very nervous.
I also experienced the same issue with my Providers on 2/24/15...It's very scary with the deadline so close. Still experiencing the same issue this morning...
I just placed a call to the registration and attestation help desk and there is a "known issue" and I'm supposed to receive a call back within "48 hrs"...I asked if the deadline would be extended--not at this time...
We are experiencing the same thing. We called this morning and were on hold for about 30 minutes. Someone did answer, but they only took a message and said someone would call us back. I really hope they extend the deadline....
I just got an email that CMS is extending the MU Attestation Deadline out to March 20!
It doesn't say anything about the functionality of the EHR website being compromised (even though it clearly is not working correctly), but I'll take whatever I can get. 🙂
Would you be willing to share your e-mail with me? [email protected]
I also got the letter. Here it is:

February 25, 2015
Dear Centricity™ Customer:
We know many of you have had success attesting to MU and submitting PQRS data. For those of you still working towards the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) deadlines, today CMS issued an extension of the submission deadline for the Medicare Meaningful Use and PQRS EHR-based (customer direct or submission through GE) programs. Please check with your state MU program to confirm Medicaid submission dates. The submission deadline has been extended to March 20, 2015 at 11:59pm EST for Meaningful Use and March 20, 2015 at 8:00pm EST for PQRS. (Announcement copied at end of note). Despite this revised timeframe, we encourage customers who are still working on MU and PQRS to continue proceeding with urgency. For those customers that have not yet attested to MU or submitted for PQRS, we are available for help. If you need to reach us, please call the Customer Center support desk at 888-436-8491 (Option 2, Option 3). CMS Extends 2014 Attestation Deadline for Medicare Eligible Professionals to March 20, 2015
Eligible professionals now have until 11:59 pm ET on March 20, 2015, to attest to meaningful use for the Medicare Electronic Health Record (EHR) Incentive Program 2014 reporting year. CMS extended the deadline to allow providers extra time to submit their meaningful use data. CMS continues to urge providers to begin attesting for 2014 as soon as they can. This extension also allows eligible professionals, who have not already used their one “switch,” to switch programs (from Medicare to Medicaid, or vice versa) for the 2014 payment year until 11:59 p.m. ET on March 20, 2015. After that time, eligible professionals will no longer be able to switch programs. Medicare eligible professionals must attest to meaningful use every year to receive an incentive and avoid a payment adjustment. Providers who successfully attest for the 2014 program year will: • Receive an incentive payment • http://www.cms.gov/Regulations-and-Guidance/Legislation/EHRIncentivePrograms/Downloads/PaymentAdj_HardshipExcepTipSheetforEP.pd f">Avoid the Medicare payment adjustment, which will be applied January 1, 2016 Note: The Medicare extension does not affect deadlines for the Medicaid EHR Incentive Program. I can understand your frustration with the EHR website issues, especially with the looming 2/28 deadline for submitting your attestations. Many users have experienced similar problems with accessing and navigating the EHR system, particularly during peak times or close to important deadlines.
To address these functionality issues, it might be helpful to clear your browser cache, try using a different browser, or attempt accessing the website during off-peak hours. Additionally, ensure that your internet connection is stable and that there are no firewall or security settings blocking the site.
For a more long-term solution and better understanding of EHR systems, I recommend checking out this article: https://www.cleveroad.com/blog/how-to-create-emr-ehr-system/. It provides valuable insights into the development and optimization of EHR systems, which might help you identify potential improvements and solutions for the current issues you are facing.
Good luck with your attestations, and I hope the website issues get resolved soon!
