Afternoon all -
We are starting to deploy Windows 7 to our facility (we have been using XP 32bit for three years now) and was wondering if other users are having issues updating SP's to the local clients with the job.txt and permission issues associated with Windows 7?
It seems like even though I am in the local Admin group, I still have to right click and "Run as Admin".
Thanks,
Chad
That is just the way of windows 7 as far as I can tell. You have to get used to "Run as Administrator" because more often then not you will need to use it in order to get things to install / change properly.
it took a while to get used to the move from XP to 7, but in the end it is definitely worth it.
You can disable User Account Control to alleviate some of the pain.
We are deploying Windows 7 as well and noticed that those users have lost the tab key function within encounter forms. The print screen key doesn't work either. Did you have that problem?
We have EMR 9.5 SP3
