We are currently on Oracle EMR 9.2. We utilize the appointment module within the EMR to schedule appts (not on PM). We have providers who are interested in using a tool that will link the EMR appts to their Outlook calendar.
Does anyone know of any software that might do that? Thanks!
We have the same issue with one practice using Outlook but an interface is expensive plus oracle is being sunsetted as we in the Centiricity EMR world migrate to CPS. Beth

A possible solution would require a custom interface that would construct an .ics file which then could be accepted via Outlook.
However, I would discourage this type of interface since it would be unsecured (Outlook is not secure) and PHI would undoubtedly be included, elevating your HIPAA risk profile to what would seem to be unacceptable levels.

This.
We utilize a product called NexSched, we are on CPS though. I believe they have a solution for the EMR side only. They are really helpful and it works pretty well once you get it going.
We are HIPPA compliant by requiring a password and encripting the device.

We use Summit Software "Edoc" and it works very well. What it does is sync the PM appointment schedule with Exchange. I am not sure if that helps you though
