We do not use Biscom and the faxing solution we have does about all we need except for, e.g., logging the letters or documents that we sent out to referring physician or allied health care entities. We do this by using the printer driver to fax the documents. We just had a demo with Biscom and they couldn't show us how their program would do this either. It seems like Biscom puts it in a general fax area but does not tie it to the patient's chart or file. The salesmen told us he will get back to us. Also, our fax solution is all inclusive in what it cost for us to be hosted so there is no additional cost. So, if anyone knows how to configure Centricity to place a time stamp?... and signature in the document stating that it was faxed, this will be incredibly helpful and keep us compliant with the auditors since they are requiring this to determine if they will reimburse us for a "new evaluation" vs. a "consult". We are also wanting this on all documents being faxed so that we can verify that it was done on other documents. We have a fax log to refer to if necessary but can you imagine digging through hundreds of faxes a day to find the one thing that you are looking for. Thank you in advance.
What product is everyone using for their faxing solution? We are currently using Faxmaker, but we are looking at other products like Biscom.

We use Biscom and are very happy with it.
This is only a test post.
biscom does have an option for "chart Notifications". When a fax is sent out of a patients chart, biscom will create a date / time stamp with a copy of what was sent out and when it was received. The fax notification goes back into the patients chart as a signed document with a paperclip / attachement with all this information.
Fairly easy to setup, you will find the documentation from the biscom manual.
