How many sites are still using the old Relay/McKesson health handouts in GE EMR?
GE has a script that is part of the Nov 2014 KB update that will run on 12/31/2014 and remove all Exit Care and Relay Health handouts.
We are just wondering if this is impacting other sites.

We found out on 12/31 how many users were using the Exit Care Handouts when they couldn't find them! Has anyone paid the licensing fee to continue using them?

I have contacted ExitCare for a quote - they said that they have had more than 10 calls just today from other GE sites. They will not have a quote available until the end of the week or early next. The phone number to contact them is 800-694-6669 EXT 1

GE's response to us was use the Truven exit care handouts.

We have also been hit hard by this over the last month. It is actually worse as the providers actually try to use Truven and find their content subpar to put it gently. I see that ljburnham asked about the licensing. Have also called today and left a message on the Exit Care Customer Service Line. Does anyone here have any updates since last posts? Appreciate your time and feedback!
