Does anyone know where I can find a comprehensive list of GPI codes? I have a 65-page PDF list that I grabbed off the listserv once upon a time, but it shows a revision date of 7/27/2007, and I thought there must be something more recent. Something searchable by drug name would be ideal. Does anyone have a link to a good online resource?
The easiest way to do this is to export the MEDINFO table from the database in to an excel sheet. You can open excel then use MSQUERY to pick off this table. Alternate is just use ACCESS to link to the table and write little quick & dirty queries there. To see the data source you should be using a computer that has a FAT client install.
Excel>Data>From Other Sources>Microsoft Query
The default database name in our system is MLO_*
then you'll need a username/password for read only, usually report/report
then open the MEDINFO table
then send it back to Excel and work with it there.
I'll give that a try - thanks!
We get a monthly copy of medications and GPI codes from GE for another project - here is the contact info:
