We started using the HTML Prescription form on Monday, October 2nd. We have noticed that if a new med is added within an encounter it does not show in the Text of the note unless the user navigates to the Rx form. It does still show in the chart on the patients med list and in the clinical list changes of the note but it is unfortunate that it only shows in the text of the note if the user opens the HTML Prescription form.
Anyone else seeing this in their clinic? Anyone know of a better work around than asking that the user always be sure to navigate to that form when adding medications?
We are on 12.2.2
I found an SPR on this forum that seems to be related, but GE only provided the work around of clicking on the form.

We were told by GE that we can no longer add new meds from the CCC form - we always have to use the new RX form.
You could create a text component to pull MEDS_NEW() into the note. If the medication is showing up in the clinical list changes I would think that it would also show up here. The output from the text component should be automatic and look similar to what the prescription form should provide.

We are not using the CCC form. In the cases where it is not showing in the text translation the providers have been using the Medication buttons at the top of the encounter to add new meds.
I considered that for a moment but do not want to go that route because if the provider does navigate to the Prescription form it would be in the text of the note twice. Once from the Prescription form and once from the text component.
