Greetings,
Does anyone know why the Hep A only has 1 non-shaded column?
Our clinic is pediatrics and we always do at least 2 doses. And everywhere I have read online says '2 or 3 doses of Hep A depending on the type.'
Our Lab employees were wondering because they are tired of explaining to parents that they are not giving their child an extra shot.
I do not exactly know what the shading means in the first place. I just assumed it was the most common required doses for these vaccines. It could be 'just for looks.'
Thanks,
Tosh

You might want to check what number you have for the series on Hep A and make sure it has 3.
In the Immunization Custom lists? Is this what you were referring to?
Yes, that would be what I was referring to. If it was already set to 3, then I would contact GE. We aren't using the HTML immunization form/history and ours is correct.
Your Hep A shows 3 non shaded entries?
Interesting. Thanks, I will contact support.

I created a ticket with our VAR HealthCo, and they figured it out. This is what I learned from watching their superb techs.
It is just simple shading within Word.
Simply go into the Immunization Hx View in Administration. Create a backup of the Content. Copy/Paste into Wordpad. Save the document then close the document. After the file is closed, open the file by right clicking it and selecting to open in Word. It will open in compatibility mode.
Once open in Word, double click inside the box you want to edit the shading, (it should highlight.)
Right Click, Boarders and Shading.
There should be a heading that says "Fill" with a drop-down that holds the current shading of the table entry. Edit the shading. Once complete, go ahead and save the document.
Then re-open with WordPad.
Copy/Paste into Immunization Hx View.
Shazam!
