How can I remove or inactivate an insurance for a specific patient? We have several patients who unfortunately had duplicates of insurance pushed to CPS through an interface with our billing system. So every time a patient registers for a visit it is marking EVERY one of those insurances. Registration then has to go and uncheck all but one of them. I would like to remove the duplicates but it give the message that it is "referenced by other records in the system and cannot be removed". It states that I can make it inactive but I am not finding a way to do that. I referenced the help menu and it tells me to inactivate it in Administration but I have no way to identify which one, of the many available, would need to be deactivated. They have ID codes in administration but I don't see an ID code listed with the insurance in the patients registration.
