We have two new ARNP's we are billing for. I have read CMS' guidelines for billing "incident to" using a 1500 HCFA. My question is how should I bill these services via Centricity. Is the ARNP entered as the responsible provider and the supervising physician entered in the supervising physician field? If the claim does not follow "incident to" guidelines than no supervising physician will be listed. Also, is the any supporting documentation to support this so I can show to the physicians?
