We are having an issue with interfaced results received from LabCorp. We would like to know if anyone else is/was having the same problem and if you were able to get it resolved.
All results from LabCorp are interfaced into CPS with a document type of Lab Report. The problem is that the pathology results are showing as lab reports. We are not getting any cooperation from LabCorp with our request to correct this. Any suggestions?
You need to have labcorp put the value AP in OBR18 segment for Pathology. Default for all documents coming into the GE Lablink interface is Lab Report. Labcorp should be able to do that once you give them the specifications from "Managing Interfaces with Centricity" handbook.
We did request (multiple times) that LabCorp change the OBR18 segment and I believe our VAR sent them the specifications. They simply choose to ignore my emails. Has anyone gotten LabCorp to change the OBR18 segment?
