I have been working on setting up the HTML Medication Administration form and noticed that if intra-articular is a route that I do not have applicable site options. Unfortunately the Site field does not allow you to free type. Our Ortho providers would like to be able to indicate the site for intra-articular injections.
Is there a way to achieve this other than entering the info in the comments section for the Medication being administered?

To answer your question no there is not. I've brought this up to GE 3 years ago when we first went live with 9.8. It is a SR they have yet to resolve. Our Ortho doctors document the site in the comments section.

There is MEL code to accomplish this. I made a very basic VFE form to edit these lists. If you send me an email I will send you the form.

Are you using the HTML form for medication administration and you are able to pull in the intra-articular sites into the form?

My form is for editing the master lists. It will alter the dropdown lists in the GE HTML medication administration form, as well as the lists available to VFE developers using MEL_GET_CONTENT(). You can add any site or route that you need.
