We are using the Kriptiq portal. We would like to use the add from chart function. Could anyone tell me if this will count in CQR for MU? Thank you.

We use the Add from Chart workflow and it does count in CQR for Patient Electronic Access.

We use the add from chart function as well, but keep in mind it does not add an obs term to the chart like the Pin letter did. So if you currently use an obs term in your banner to indicate if a patient is signed up for the portal, it will no longer work.

We use Add from Chart as well and we tested it and it does count for MU.

Can anyone explain how exactly the "Add from Chart" method counts? How does CQR pull this information if nothing is in the chart [PORTALPIN OBS].. ? Just curious as our practice is looking further into switching our workflow from pin to add from chart. Thank you!

The reporting piece, if anyone is interested is that each time a chart is linked, an entry is made in the MUActivityLog table in SQL. A MUActivityLogTypeId of 510 is logged as "Patient Portal Access Available". 520 is "Secure Message sent by patient". The full list is:
