Hi,
I had a provider return from an Ortho Forum meeting stating that he spoke with another Ortho practice that were using macros to auto populate the diagnosis, impression, plan and Exam. He doesn't remember where they were from or if they were CPS or CEMR. Anyone know about this beyond CCC functionality and VFE I haven't seen macros that automatically populate all this? Thanks, Misty

That sounds like SimpleChart.
It has not been advertised much.
But, I've heard, it can be used to create a quick text that will fill in a whole note, place orders, and prompt for med changes.

I agree, it sounds like Simple Chart. We created a few for our acute diagnoses and providers love them. They simply type a short quick text and depending on your setup, it will:
- Automatically add the diagnosis(es) with its ICD-10 code along with a duration if needed/wanted.
- Order medications or open to a custom med list.
- Order "Service" or "Test" tests with its diagnosis(es) and corresponding ICD-10 code(s), priority and if a future order
- Adds allergies
- Adds OBS Terms (e.g., Yes, Done, Due, etc.)
- Text to be placed in clinical document. For example, we chose to insert the patient instructions based on the diagnosis(es).
I attached the document you use when developing a quick text, but without training it does not make much sense. Not only do you need training you will need to ensure you have Simple Chart Fx Builder installed. I would recommend contacting your implementation specialist to see if he/she can provide that training and forms. If not, let me know and I would be glad to help in any way I can.

Thanks!! I realized once you said Simple Chart that I had taken notes at Chug and downloaded all the PDF's on the subject. Thanks also for the worksheet. Misty
