Can anyone help with the workflow for Matched Rx renewals in the new med management? Is there a way to tell that these have been worked on because they don't leave the list and you can't assign someone to them?
THanks!

We just started denying Un-Matched Rx request if the patient truly isn't ours, we use the patient unknown to prescriber as the reason option and send that to the pharmacy it came from.
Any other ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Once they are matched, the provider should be able to see them in their matched rx renewals list (on the left side menu on the chart desktop). Only non-clinical roles can do the matching, so the clinical staff should be getting them once they are matched. We have had an issue with receiving refill requests for inactive patients. There is no way to remove them from med management. We were told they would just fall off the list after 90 days of no action. That really isn't the best workflow. The only other workflow (I think) would be to have the non-clinical staff make the patient active again in registration, match the patient, have the provider deny the Rx request, and then have the non-clinical staff go back in registration to make the patient inactive again. That's a worse workflow though, so for now, we are sticking with letting them fall off after 90 days.
