Our providers are looking for a way to document information required to bill for certain minor office procedures. We are a primary care office and routinely perform nebulizer treatments and removal of impacted cerumen. They have been using Minor Procedures-CCC for things like skin tag removal and I&D, but are in need of something similar for the neb treatments and impacted cerumen. Any ideas?
Thanks so much!
You could create order custom order lists with the appropriate description and CPT code for each procedure. The EMR can produce a Superbill for each patient if the provider enters the information through the orders module.
If you are just looking for a better way to document, we use the "medication administration" html form to document neb treatments. We actually like that workflow a lot because it allows the provider to document the order and the nurse to document the treatment. We do a lot of neb treatments.
Cerumen removal documentation might be a good use of quicktext.
Great suggestions - thank you!
