We are getting a Outdated or Obsolete Dx Codes alert on a couple of problems in relation to the ICD 9 codes. Is there a way to correct this problem (Since I can't delete the code) or at least turn off this alert?

In EMR 9.8, under Go / Setup / Settings
Choose Chart / Coding Requirements
There are checkboxes under Coding Requirements that you can select to deal with uncoded problems, which "might" help. ? Maybe "Allow uncoded problems" ?
Not sure myself if its a good idea...
[ ] Allow uncoded problems
[ X ] Show uncoded problems, medications, and allergies with asterisks
[ ] Show previously selected potential diagnoses with shaded background
