I have 3 PDF files that providers are requesting to become handouts. They are specific files that are also legal documents and we do not want to recreate these to avoid any potential errors. I have opened a ticket with GE to check on the best way to get these into the system, but wanted to check with everyone to see if someone has a flow to do this. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Sometimes I'll take a screenshot of an image or part of a pdf, paste it into paint, crop, copy and paste it into the handout window, the resolution turns out pretty good unless you need to resize it in paint
I did try to do that with a SnagIt tool I have and the document does not look clean when it prints.
You can get good results if you convert it to a 300 dpi monochrome image. There's a size limitation so I've had to use smaller resolutions to fit more than 3 pages in one handout. I import the bmp into WordPad to resize, then copy and paste into the handout. This keeps the image intact so it doesn't turn into a fuzzy mess.
Adobe Acrobat Professional can usually change it to a Word document or some other format.
I did download the free trial for Adobe Pro and it does work well for converting, just need to spot check the document for any transition errors from being converted. Thank you!
