We have several providers using a paper sheet with a front and back outline of a human figure.
We call this "pain man"
They draw on this to indicate where the pain is, using different symbols (slashes, plus signs, greater than and less than) to show type of pain. Then medical records has to scan this into the patient chart.
Is anyone using a solution which allows the pain man to be drawn on (like in an ipad) and then pulled into and attached to the patient chart ?
I would like to get rid of the paper.

you can use the attachment section in centricity and draw on it with the tool there? Have you tried that?
Beverly,
Our company Logical Innovations, has a solution that provides exactly what your looking for. Our tool is called Visual Signature Capture and can display any image you would like. Your providers can write on it in various colors and save the image to the patients chart. No printing, scanning or indexing..
I'd be happy to set up a demo for you at your convenience.

Ann,
I tried the attachment tool, but it is barbaric trying to write on the jpg. Tool does not give the ability to change the font size. Just could not make it work as we need it too.
Joel,
I will take a look at your sig capture tool, see if that can be a workable solution for my providers.
