Is anyone using any patient check in software/tablets that integrate into EMR? We are looking for a solution when the patient hits the desk we have them check in on a device and it arrives the patient in GE.
Any recommendations would be great.

I can build anything custom to work with a centricity. But if you want one already done, I highly recommend Clearwave.

In addition to Clearwave you may also want to look at Phreesia.

We use Healthgrid. They have a complete Patient Engagement solution.

The last time I went to CHUG, I saw CheckinAsyst by HealthAsyst and I was really impressed with the product and some of the additional features, like having a iPad mounted to a kiosk or mounted to the front desk. They seemed to have real nice integration with Centricity and at the time they were in talks with GE about becoming the preferred vendor for Front Desk Patient Checkin (I do not know if this actually happened or not).
