For UDS reporting patients with hysterectomies are to be excluded from the denominator. How are you documenting in GE so that those with the hysterectomy are excluded from the denominator. Was a special form created or is there something already in GE which would make this happen.

Is this for Pap smears? If so then you can use the order (procedure code) for a complete hysterectomy and then complete the order in the order section. This will exclude the patient from needing a pap.

We do not do hysterectomies would using the process you described make it seem like we performed the hysterectomy ?
