We recently implemented an new ADT interface, and upon import we are adding an external ID to the patient registration. I've set this external id as our preferred external id set. I noticed that the associated external id only gets added to associated patientprofile record when I click 'preferred' within linklogic admin. If I don't do that, it just remains as a standard external id and doesn't show up in the 'find patient' dialog.
I can continue to just click the 'preferred' button periodically, but does anyone know if there is a way to have this happen automatically?
