Hi all -
Has any experienced printing issues with the HPLJ P1606's? All of printers are TCP/IP based and we have tried multiple drivers (including the generic HP universal drivers) and at random times during the day the printer is spitting out garbage. We have blown away the printers all together and recreated the connections. We have also assigned new IP's thinking that someone at a different LOC might have had it mapped. They are all local installs so it is not a CITRIX or print server issue. We have uninstalled and reinstalled the EMR and it still continues.
We had called GE in the hopes that it might be a known issue however; they were unable to provide assistance except to try the generic HP drivers. Has anyone else experienced this before?
As always, thanks in advance for any ideas!

Sounds like it is definitley a communications issue. I see you have tried most everything, but is there a software update (FlasH) available for that printer? Does this happen from any OS version or just one? Just a few more thoughts, maybe this will help.
Thanks for the thoughts!
We had upgraded the printer to the latest version. Unfortunately we currently only use Windows XP so I don't know if Windows 7 or 8 would resolve it but it might be worth trying.
Thanks again.
