We are exploring how technology could assist in more quickly and accurately handling some types of incoming phone calls. One thought is to utilize a solution that many of us may experience - we call our local pharmacy, and if from our home number (beauty of caller-id) with a simple entry to house number (or similar) we can begin the process to refill a prescription.
When all is well, the pharmacist gets an email and/or something printed to say there is a new request for a refill.
So, trying to figure out if a similar scenario is possible where a person could call-in, and based on answering a few questions that a Centricity document is created and routed to a specific person. Of course, there would be times when the call would be directed to a person.
I am open to hear any suggestions or comments.
Thanks.
