Just wondering how other offices send denials for prescriptions to the pharmacy, what templates do you use? When ever we send our denial notes to the pharmacy they never receive the message through rx-refill template, is there a different workflow? We where told we had to call all our denials in... Thanks

We submit all our rx denials through the eRX refill encounter form and so far we have not had any issues. Are you setup for electronic prescribing? If you are, make sure you're on the latest eSM version. Also, if you are using electronic prescribing, I would suggest sending some examples to GE so they can start an investigation through SureScripts. The GE team that handles those requests are great to deal with.
