We are looking for a way to set up an Internal Registry in Centricity. It will be used as an internal tool, does not have to be linked to an outside interface. Has anybody had any experience doing this in Centricity or does Centricity even have this capability. We want to set up a registry for Diabetes and Hypertension.
Thanks for your input.
Don
I guess that the answer depends on what you are trying to accomplish (and mean) by setting up a registry. In a way, searching for patients that have an active problem if ICD-250* would be a registry of diabetic patients.
So, what are you trying to accomplish?
Hi Don,
I have done this type of thing before for other facilities. I have built custom reporting that were emailed daily to providers as well. If you need assistance, please let me know.
Centricity do not care what registry you are using. You can setup any registry with subscription and than opt in/out patient (or default to opt in).
This is very simple process. Take a look to Administration > System > Interoperability > Configuration. Create and "Import Subscription" for your internal registry.
