Hi All,
I wasn't sure if I should put this in workflow or regulations but I figured I'd start here...
As a bit of background we are working with both Qvera and Kryptic to send TOC documents depending on which HISP the receiving service provider uses.
With Qvera we had successful testing with the Mass Hiway and moved into true beta testing with other organizations. One of our first was working with our hospital who uses Iatric to receive these messages. We found in testing that our message was denied/refused/unopened because the Qvera process is to encrypt and then sign the message. Iatric wanted it signed then encrypted.
After a meeting-of-the-minds call we found that some receiving "systems" will look for messages that are encrypted then signed, others signed then encrypted (unsure if any will accept both). Apparently we are on the cutting edge of XDR to XDR messaging and this was news to just about everyone in the room.
My question is: is anyone successfully and consistently sending messages via Qvera to other organizations and, if so, what system(s) are they using to receive said messages? We want to work the Qvera solution as it is the smallest impact on current workflow but we are concerned that "X" percent of our messages will completely fail due to this. Or, has anyone else experienced this in testing?
My hope is we can hit the 10% via Qvera and they are great to work with but I did want to see what others are experiencing. And for my two cents - there are far too many cooks in the TOC kitchen...
Thanks,
Mike
