Has anyone used any type of smart card technology for centricity logon? Some of my Doctors are asking about similar systems being used in the hospital and if they can ban be used at our local office. I think the interest is in a quicker one step logon process, hold the card up to a reader and you are logged in.
We are using Imprivata Single Sign-on in our clinic. Works well with CPS and the providers really like it.
We use Caradigm(Vergence) for Single-signon based upon employee badges. It's very popular on the hospital floors, but didn't go over so well in the outpatient EMR office. Problem with EMR was that providers & staff bounce from room to room so much that it was frankly faster to login manually from the EMR splash screen rather than badge in & out. Not sure that login process was unique to Caradigm/Vergence.
We are also using Imprivata Single Sign-on with CPS and it works well.
Anyone use this with Citrix?
