Good afternoon!
Clinic administration is hoping to move us away from the traditional "bellow a client's name out in the waiting room" approach to using a TV display that calls people by number.
Is anyone using software like this? Do you have any recommendations? Particularly interested in something that might be able to interface with Centricity (maybe using the appointment status to trigger the display or something). I haven't thus far been able to find anything that works this way, but the requester said they're certain they spoke to someone at another clinic that uses Centricity who implemented it.
Thanks,
Tina
I can build a software to do this. I was going to implement this to a company i support but they changed their minds. It would be completely integrated with Centricity and can even check them in (if needed) depending on how in depth you want it
Disclaimer: I haven't done this.
My first thought would be a web server periodically pulling info from the database periodically with an automatic web page refresh. I'm thinking web server queries Mirth Connect via API perhaps, and Mirth handles the back end processes.
No idea if it's a practical idea, but it's an idea.

Be sure to share your work here as I think this is something missing from CPS.
Quest diagnostics has a really nice system. It shows a list of names, how long until they are likely to be called. It would seem to be very easy to do if you are a developer.
