Our precert staff are wondering what software is out there that can test a Diagnosis code for payability by Medicare. They often speak with other facilities on the phone, who have these answers almost immediately. Meanwhile, they can only test by going to the CMS website, which apparently isn't ICD-10, yet?
I did contact one facility, but never received a satisfactory answer.
