That is all. Why fix something that isn't broken? I can't find ANYTHING with this new crap. Very disappointed.
I believe it was so that they can Charge for advertising. Way to much by the way, and not even on the forum pages... or cause they are trying to follow GE footsteps, which is a total fail.
Are there ads? I have adblock programs running so I don't see any. It does look GE'ish...so we can expect it to work 50% of the time 🙂
in the contributors section there are.
Love your GEish comment. I mean they are trying to follow GE's support portal. Which is some what in the same type of layout.
I personally like getting the e-mail notifications again, I miss that from years ago. While I believe it is a little difficult to navigate, the tags and key words to the right really do help. If every one would remember to sign their posts (I am bad about that) and remember to add tags then that might help. It would also help to have more specific forum headings. I still would like to see one for known defects instead of finding these posts all over the pot.
Thanks,

I miss the individual RSS feeds by topic from the last site. I now have to weed through topics that are unrelated to what I would be interested in.
As a part of the marketing and the technology committee, I appreciate you all taking the time to voice your concerns. Please know I am responding to this forum feed without consulting our committee and of my own accord.
I would like to reassure you that we are currently working to make this better. Every member of the Technology Committee is a volunteer and must be a CPS/C-EMR/PM user. This site is created for the users, and if we missed the mark, we will work to make it right. Please know that we are all like you, users working everyday in the product and this forum is meant to be a place for us all to connect. I will tell you we did not base our changes off of GEs portal and we did not change the forums to make money. In fact, MONTHS of reviewing several sites, such as the apple.com/support, were put into deciding how this forum should look. Several well known forum users had input and are still volunteering their time to improve this site for YOU. If you have an interest in specifically making recommendations for this forum, please email the committee. The committee wants to make this forum the best it can be and will appreciate any feedback you have. I will make sure the committee discusses this feed in our next meeting as well especially the individual RSS feeds by topic.
Thank you and Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

I have to agree too. I rarely visit now and when I do I get turned off pretty quick. I don't really know what sparks my attention when it does but it is likely the most recent posts. I got interested in a topic a while back but it was from over a year ago and very stale.
Looks pretty but functionality is poor. Unfortunately the numbers of users seems to have dwindled since the listserv days and this will likely make it worse (And as an IT person I despise listservs)
If there is another idea in the works, maybe we should vote on a few demos?

Amy,
Thank you for the reply. It is good to know that our suggestions are being heard.

Mike,
I will take that suggestion to the committee. Thanks!
Amy
I would like to thank everyone on the marketing and technology committees for the hundreds of volunteer hours each of you have put into designing the look and content for this website. I know it hasn't been easy.
I would like to suggest that those users who have constructive criticism about this forum should offer their time and energies and volunteer for a committee.
