We have a provider who states he needs to be in the chart along with other users. Does anyone know the official stance regarding this? He was losing data when he went into the update while others were in it at the same time. Now he has stopped, and is no longer losing data. Isn't there some sort of warning or can you bypass this?

Generally users should get a warning that someone else is in the chart. However it seems there are ways around this. This might be helpful to you:
