We are about to implement the UptoDate.com evidence-based website for our clinicians for patient handouts and research both thru Web Lookup and CQIC forms, however we are in need of 'tagging' that a provider has actually given the patient a Handout to satisfy Meaningful Use criteria. That is, without extra clicks.
Is there anyone familiar with this that has been able to figure this out without additional checkboxes? UptoDate.com has mentioned its on their radar but is not an option at this time.

Have you considered population the obs term for patient specific resources as part of the work flow?
I am not sure I understand what you are saying. Can you email me at [email protected].
Thank you
Gina
We are in the same boat with a slight difference. Through the Web Lookup function, is there any way to pass the logged in username to the UpToDate URL? I have tried the following data symbols: {USER.LOGINNAME} and {GETUSERINFO(LOGINNAME)} but CPS does not seem to be passing anything.
I am also in need for some assistance from someone that can modify the UpToDate clinical kit to use the new UpToDate URL. I know the UpToData .ckt zip file has been posted on the trading post by someone. If someone can assist, do email me, please.

Our physicians are asking about Up to Date, can either of you tell me about your experience with this product and if you found it helpful for meaningful use? Pros and cons? Is it worth the cost, etc?
