We have been using Centricity PM since 2001 (currently using version 2004). We have been on ChartLogic EMR 2006 since 2007. We must upgrade our IT setup in order to do meaningful use, etc.
We are considering moving to Centricity CPS for everything, PM & EMR. This has been untenable in the past due to the lack of support for eyecare with Centricity. Now, there are a few options such as the "Lexington Eyecare" templates and add-ons from Virtual Officeware (VOW).
Anyone out there using CPS in an eyecare clinic? Any experience with third-party templates or did you have to create your own forms?
How do you deal with the optical retail side of the business?
We like our VAR and Centricity PM, but may have to dump everything to go with a different vendor all together if we can't get the support we need to for eye care specific issues we deal with. Thank you in advance from any comments from an optometry/ophthalmology clinic!

We have 2 ophthalmologists here and have been just as frustrated. Our doctors saw the Lexington Eye forms and have decided that they want to use them so we are now in the process of getting them tweaked for docs. Lexington has been great to work with, by the way.
