How are you capturing veteran status? Right now we added a choice in the employment status drop down box. That kinda works but sometime we are asked how many veterans we serve and what is their employment status. That is a problem. Just curious how you deal with this. Thanks.
We use a third party solution. CHC registration component from Visualutions. It allows us to capture Veteran/Non-Veteran. We are a FQHC and it also allows us to capture the income to see if patient qualifies for the Federal Sliding Fee.

We do it via Social History but that isn't very useful for reporting. I'll have to look at the CHC registration.
