Has anyone upgraded to the eSM 3.5 yet? We did on Friday, and this morning has been no fun. The new form does not allow manual matching of meds, so you must deny or deny new to follow. Every single one of our 37 provider's nurses called in a panic this morning because every single one of the refill requests did not have the approve option. The weird part is that a lot of them matched with the name, dose and instructions. My questions are, does this eventually get better? What are the reasons for what meds is stops and makes you deny/deny new to follow? Did you discover anything else I should be aware of? Any advice on how to make this transition easier on staff? It's like a powder keg in here today!!!
Also, we are having an issue with the refill request complete checkbox not saving the refill to the chart. Anyone else having these problems? We can't be the only ones on this version...
We have had that problem in 3.3.2 as well. GE doesn't seem to be able to find the reason.
For anyone who has not upgraded to 3.5 yet; don't do it!
Nearly every refill requires you to "deny, new to follow" because SureScripts isn't sending the proper codes over. GE and Kryptiq are working on getting this fixed, but it's not something you want to subject your providers to.
The other issue is that you have to click on the "Additional Information" tab before your approval (if you are lucky and receive one you can approve) will hit the chart and get sent over to SureScripts.
For anyone wanting more information, email me at [email protected] and I can forward you a couple of emails from GE support about all of the issues with 3.5.
I found the post about how to add attachments in replies, but I'm not sure if it's actually working. Here you go?

Thanks for the information! Unfortunately, we are upgraded and stuck. How long have they been working on this bug? It seems ridiculous that they would release a product that isn't functioning, especially when this product is necessary for CPS 12 upgrade!
Nice... I wish this information would be conveyed to GE's upgrade team in a way that they retain and recall it when enforcing their pre-upgrade requirements on clients! No mention of this was made by our upgrade team and we are now in the same boat.
