We are showing 0% for each of the CPOE measures in CQR. the denominator's are all listed as unmet. I've been trying to track this down and have been requested to post the question here.
Thank you in advance,
Steve
We are not getting the correct results either. I have a meeting with GE Friday about CQR, and how wrong the numbers are, and has caused major issues with CMS.
If you are showing 0% in CQR, make sure your setting are correct for each provider. In CPS Admin > user management > chart access: there is a check box that says "legally authorized to enter CPOE orders". This must be checked in order for things to count in CQR.
Try checking your Orders setup - Under the Codes and Categories - Tests and Procedures - there is a place where you define/change your category Names.
Its called "Default Classification" and you need to check if the category is either a Laboratory - Radiology - Other and this is what marks those orders for CQR.
Sborchardt and Ty,
Thank you , yes that was the first thing I checked. Mtooley, will look at that.
Thank you everyone, I really appreciate your input.
Steve
On EMR 9.8, our CPOE numbers are pretty accurate now.
Are you on SP10? That was the game-changer for CPOE accuracy.
Did you refresh old data back into CQR after SP10, or after setting users as credentialed?
Hi James,
Yes, we are on SP10. We did do a refresh of the data, but with the same result. Other changes were picked up when the data was refreshed, but CPOE results haven't changed. Will talk to GE and see what they advise.
Thank you,
Steve
Thank you everyone. I'm going to have to get GE to sort this out. Changing the orders now shows 0% for both lab and radiology, instead of no results, but no numerator or denominator. CPOE for Meds remains unchanged. Additionally, while one provider's data would not update before, his now updates, but the others show now results?!?!
