We are having a tough time trying to find out if data is mapping correctly for the following CQR Measures:
Gender
Ethnicity
Race
Payor
For example, when we go in to Settings > System > Data Mapping, and click on "CMS-68: Documentation of Current Meditations in the Medical Record" under "ONC Administrative Sex" it doesn't show us any mapping and we don't know what to search for to add a mapping.
We've done a search on "Gender" and "Sex" but nothing comes up that is relevant to the patient's gender.
I can tell you CMS 68 reporting in CQR is broken per GE and should be fixed in July.
If I'm not mistaking that one adds a snomed order when the create CVS button is clicked. The rule that puts it there is in the CAM (conditional action measure) txt file
We have a denominator for this measure but small or no numerators. Anyone meeting this have a workflow they can share? I know there is a fix coming, but I don't want to wait for the fix to find out that we are missing something in the workflow. =)
There is another thread about this same measure: see below from hbias on 6/22/2015
I worked with GE today regarding the CMS 68 ‘Document Current Meds’ and found out it is broken in CQR. Should be fixed in July CQR upgrade. Thought I would share so others aren’t beating their heads against the wall like I was.
Hope this helps, my numbers are low as well and I am waiting for the July upgrade to see in my numbers change.
