Hi,
How do you get any meaningful reports out of CQR to attest? I downloaded a report and got an email with a link that doesn't work. GE said you can only access the report if you are getting audited?? We want a CSV with providers or some usable report not a dashboard. Does anyone have any insight or solutions?
Thanks.
There isn't a downloadable Excel/CSV format available that I'm aware of. The QRDA is like an XML file that you would use to submit you numbers directly to CMS electronically, but technically you could parse out QRDA's into a CSV format using your programming language of choice. But like you said, the QRDA isn't working fully anyway because when you get an email with a link to the file, the page appears to just time out.
I like the dashboard idea, but not being able to see all of our providers at one time makes it pretty tedious to use right now.
Mike:
Nice to know that the page times out for you as well - I was on the phone with GE this morning and they told me if I installed Chrome, it would work. So, I installed it - guess what - website timed out! Waiting to see if GE has anymore gems of wisdome - if they get something to work, I'll let you know!

My hope this morning was to tap into the QRDA file and parse it out to create raw data and push data into excel to build a dashboard or summary score card of some kind.
I was able to retrieve 1 QRDA out of the 4 I requested this morning.
The QRDA.zip will not extract without error.
I am able to double-click to see the content in the QRDA.zip file, but there are 23 zip files, an xml, and a read me within that zip file.
I hoped the xml file was maybe a display of the other 23 zip files, but it will not open without error.
The read me will not open without error.
It doesn't ask for a password, just errors out.
I tried unblocking, copying it locally...I'm at a stand still.
If have to request a QRDA from CQR, wait for the link, download the QRDA.zip, extract it, then extract 23 other zip files to get the raw data...I think I'm going to cry a little.
MQIC gave me a spreadsheet that I put into a pivot table that was extremely nice and easy.
At least you can get it from the website - cannot even do that! BTW, I have a box of tissues I'm willing to share!

I just tried to Download the QRDA (from within Chrome) and am challenged to enter a password. Once the password is entered and I hit OK, I received an email at my desk stating "Your QRDA generation request is processing. You will receive an email with a link to download it."
I'll let you know when (and if) I get the email allowing me to download it.
I am able to download both files, the QRDA and Excel Group Summary. The QRDA report requires an unzip program that will process passwords, Microsoft's built in utility won't, 7-Zip will. The XML reports are useless from a user perspective. The Excel summaries have lots of data, in a problematic format. Each measure is in a separate tab, numerators and denominators are present but not percentages. Can percentages be calculated, of course, but each tab has to be touched. What I need is a very simple spreadsheet, rows by physician, columns by measure percentages. Alas.
Also, the dashboards are very pretty, way too much useless white space. The dashboard appearance needs to be readdressed, single line per measure, numberator, denominator, percentages, passed/fail.
Does anybody have, or direct me to GE's measure algorithms. I can create the summary I need for my practice if I have access to the algorithms. In addition, a per pt dashboard can be created.
