Dear
Centricity Practice Solutions and Centricity EMR customers,
As
you are aware with software, from time to time, updates are required to make
enhancements and fix defects. It has been a year since we have made any
changes to the Crystal Reports that support the Meaningful Use (MU)
measurements. Over the past year we have received requests
for improvements from customers, there have been CMS FAQ clarifications and a
few improvement opportunities. As such, we are happy to announce our
release of the MU Reports v1.10. This release is specific to the MU
Reports generated in the system and is not an update to the MQIC MU
reports.
This
update to the MU Reports can be run now to attest for 2012. The 2012
attestation window closes February 28. If you have already
attested for 2012, there is no need to rerun your reports or re-attest, as
these changes will not impact results in a way that your MU threshold
calculations would go down. The changes implemented will create more
accurate and timely reporting capabilities. As you prepare for 2013
attestation, you should use the updated MU Reports v1.10.
The
complete contents of the changes made in this service pack can be found in the
release notes <add link> but here are a few of the changes you will see:
-
Improved
report runtime performance by implementing job title filtering for report
generation
-
Added
patient portal access to the Clinical Visit Summary per CMS FAQ
